'Every child is Gifted & Talented, Special in his or her own way.'
Who are « Gifted and Talented » (G/T) children?
GIFTED children are those whose potential is distinctly above average in one or more of the following domains of human ability: intellect, creative, social and physical. They have abilities in one or more academic subjects, like math and English.
TALENTED children are those whose skills are distinctly above average in one or more areas of human performance.
We believe in the power of environmental factors, that being naturally smart isn't enough; a child needs support and guidance to achieve his/her gifted «potential».
Why is Gifted and Talented Program needed ?
G&T students need gifted education programs that will challenge them in regular classroom settings, as well as enrichment and accelerated programs to enable them to make continuous progress in school. G&T educational programs positively influence students' futures by providing tailored challenges sufficient to foster rather than dull their abilities.
